Autism-friendly screenings

How does it work

Lights are about halfway up and the sound is toned down during the screening. There are no trailers or commercials before the movie. You are allowed to bring snacks and beverages. You are able to choose your preferred seats and also move freely around the place. It is completely ok to create some noise or leave the screening hall by will. And you can always come back.

Who are the screenings generally meant for

Screenings are tailored for people with autism spectrum disorder. They are also suitable for people with:

Do I need any kind of certificate validating that I, or the person I am assisting, have any type of disorder?

No.

Are the screenings barrier-free?

Yes. There is a platform for barrier-free access next to the entrance and another one in the Big hall. There are also barrier-free toilets in the cinema.

Is it necessary to buy tickets in advance?

It is not. You can buy tickets at the box office right before the screening. It is also possible to buy them online on our website. The price for one ticket is 100 CZK. One assisting person per visitor is free of charge.

How do we choose films

We usually choose current animated films aimed at young audiences or documentaries. We carefully pick films that don’t have any fast audiovisual changes but are at the same time dynamic enough to keep the attention of the audience. Your feedback is always appreciated.
