Documentary photographs depict everyday life in Kiev and the two surrounding towns of Buche and Irpini. It offers an insight into the lives of ordinary people who were and still are affected by the war. Some of the photographs were taken during the Ukrainian Independence Day, where, despite the ban on gathering, people took to the streets with flags to celebrate this important anniversary.
