Nikola Beková – Čáry
4. 6. - 30. 6. 2024
The prints are captures of the artist's favourite sceneries, which she attempts to spatially decompose into abstract shapes. In doing so, she creates a language to describe the visual tendencies of the atmosphere of each place. The artist starts from an ordinary line in graphite, which may seem almost banal. In doing so, she points to her role as an unencumbered observer of the world.
The author is currently a student of the Studio of Free Art at UMPRUM and the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University.
