ZUB | STREET ART OBRAZY
1 September - 4 December 2024, Bio Central café
Hi, I'm Zub. I've always enjoyed street art. I've been into it since I was a kid. I started out like every other kid - painting on the sidewalk, making potato prints, sticking stickers not just on furniture...etc. But probably the first stencil I remember was the cover of IRON MAIDEN's The Trooper, and that's how my first D.I.Y. t-shirt came about. I've been active in the skate/snow/punk/hc community since I was a teenager, so I'm a "shred" kid. It gave me the opportunity to push myself a little further in my own work.
Over time I've moved from one layer stencils to the way my paintings are today. I still do everything by hand (redrawing and then cutting out the layers of stencils and the final actual spraying stage on the wooden board). I choose my motifs according to what I like and what I enjoy. Movies, anime, comics, game or music themes. So hopefully you'll like something too. Thanks ZUB
The exhibition is for sale. If you are interested in any of the paintings on display, please sign the guestbook. I will contact you after the exhibition.
